Buzz Jackson has spent more than 30 years in country radio — with stops in Orlando and Jacksonville along the way, and the last 25+ years right here in Tucson. He is the Program Director and Afternoon Drive host at KiiM-FM 99.5, Tucson's Country Favorites, heard every weekday from 3 to 7 — and every morning across America on Westwood One's "Real Country" affiliates, from Sacramento to North Carolina and everywhere in between.
A two-time ACM Award winner and CMA Award winner with three Marconi nominations, Buzz was inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame in 2021 and has twice been named a top country programmer by Radio INK. He conducts a weekly music call for Cumulus country stations across the company, and in July 2025 he guest-announced at the Grand Ole Opry — introducing Darryl Worley on the Opry 100 celebration.
Around town, he's known as the "Voice of Marana," having emceed four Marana community events. He's an O-negative blood donor — 118 pints and counting — and a six-time El Tour de Tucson rider.
